Your pillow is designed to be adjustable with 3 interchangeable inserts so you can create the perfect height and firmness to suit your sleeping style and personal comfort. Each insert is filled with engineered layers of gel-infused shredded memory foam and bamboo fibre. Stack or remove inserts to find your perfect height and firmness - whether that’s firm, medium, or low/soft.

What are the pillow dimensions?

The pillow measures 47 x 72.5 cm, making it a perfect fit for your TLC pillowcases.

The inserts included are:

220gsm – thinnest, softest insert
440gsm – medium insert
640gsm – thickest, firmest insert

*The difference in thickness can be felt/visible when handling/looking at the inserts.

Thickest and firmest option. Perfect if you love a really full pillow and maximum support.
Best for: side sleepers who need extra loft to keep the neck aligned.

440 + 640gsm inserts

Second thickest setting. Still firm and supportive but not as high as all three.
Best for: side sleepers or broader-shouldered sleepers who prefer firm support without too much bulk.

640 + 220gsm inserts

Medium-firm with a bit more give. The thickest insert balances out with the softest, creating support with extra comfort.
Best for: back sleepers who like support but don’t want a tall pillow also good for side sleepers who prefer a touch more softness.

440 + 220gsm inserts

Balanced medium height and firmness. Not too soft, not too firm - a happy middle ground.
Best for: combination sleepers (those who switch between back and side), or anyone looking for a balance between support and softness.

220gsm insert only

Thinnest and softest setting. Ideal for those who like a low, plush pillow.
Best for: stomach sleepers (to keep the head from being pushed up too high), or anyone who prefers a soft, minimal pillow.

Sleep Style & Neck/Shoulder Pain

Side sleepers: Need more height and firmness to fill the space between the shoulder and neck. Best settings → All 3 inserts or 440 + 640gsm.

Back sleepers: Do best with a medium loft to support the neck without pushing the head forward. Best settings → 640 + 220gsm or 440 + 220gsm.

Stomach sleepers: Need a thin, soft pillow to avoid straining the neck. Best setting → 220gsm only.

Neck/shoulder pain: Usually improved with a pillow that keeps the spine aligned. For most, this means a medium loft such as 440 + 220gsm but if you have broad shoulders and sleep on your side, 440 + 640gsm may give better support.

Outer Shell: Cooling Performance Fabric - a breathable blend of OEKO-TEX® certified PE fibres and natural bamboo. This delivers a soft touch, cooling airflow, and complete peace of mind for nightly use.
Insert Filling: 80% Gel-Infused Shredded Memory Foam (Polyurethane) + 20% Bamboo Fibre.

Care:

Inserts: Not washable. Spot clean only if needed.
Outer shell: Cold machine wash (40°C or less) or gentle hand wash (preferred)
Drying: Do not tumble dry. Line dry only (out of direct sunlight preferred)

How long will my pillow last?
- With proper care, your TLC Adjustable Comfort Pillow is designed to last 3+ years.
Where do I put the other inserts if I am not using them?
Storage: You can simply pop them in your linen cupboard until you want to adjust your pillow again. Another great option is to slip them into the fabric bag that our bedding sets come in - it keeps them clean and tidy.
Extra uses: Many customers love using the spare inserts as a travel or camping pillow, or even as a little plane pillow since they’re compact and lightweight.

As with most textiles, we recommend hanging them out in direct sunlight. However, we understand that this sometimes is not possible so if needed, you can put your TLC sheets in the dryer but we recommend a low heat or delicate setting. Please ensure that they are dried by themselves.

Temperature Regulating (breathable, hypo-allergenic, promotes moisture absorption) - meaning our blend will assist in maintaining a happy medium, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in winter. If TLC is devoted to this sheet set, will not play on your allergies! Perfect to get you through those long sweaty nights after a big weekend (grog horrors) and will improve your chances of securing a round two with the partner of your dreams!

Soft & Durable - tipping the theory of thread count on its head. Our blend is far less costly and is made of naturally long bamboo fibres which will ensure your sheets will last longer, less likely to tear and will feel softer and more superior than any other high-end sheet set you've been lucky to pinch from your parent's linen cupboard!

Sustainable - our bamboo/cotton blend does not require excessive water or harmful chemicals to grow or produce it! Meaning by purchasing our sheets, you are reducing your environmental footprint.

Your Hair Will Love You More - create less friction between your hair as it rubs against the pillow. This will promote healthy and strong hair (say goodbye to bed hair!)

Keeps Your Dry & Cool - The bamboo also possesses the ability to wick unwanted moisture away, helping you stay dry and cool while enabling any unwanted moisture in your sheets created by sweat and body fluids to evaporate, and ultimately ridding your sheets of unpleasant odours.

Our unique bamboo/cotton blend shows far less creases when made. We recommend avoiding the use of a dryer post-wash which will help reduce crinkles. However, if you do need to use the dryer for your TLC sheets, please remove sheets from the dryer as soon as the cycle is done to avoid crinkles. Another great tip is to shake out the sheets before placing them in the dryer! Be sure to remove sheets from the washing machine as soon as possible and hang out on the line. Sleeping on the set will also assist greatly with removing visible creases.

Despite trying for a significant period of time to find suitable Aussie manufacturers, we discovered that, for the most part, our local manufacturing industry doesn’t currently have the same level of investment in technology and innovation as overseas facilities, and would not necessarily be able to scale with our demand at times.
