How to wash and dry my TLC sheets?

To keep your sheets in perfect condition from day one, we recommend washing them before the first use. Here’s a quick care guide:

  1. Wash in Cold or Warm Water: Use a gentle cycle with mild detergent, a cold wash is preferred by up to 40°C is also perfectly safe for the sheets.
  2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Steer clear of bleach and fabric softeners to protect the fabric by using a mild detergent.
  3. Wash Separately: Wash your sheets on their own to minimise friction and keep them fresh.
  4. Opt for Gentle Drying: Air drying is ideal, but if you’re using a dryer, choose low or delicate heat setting.
  5. Shake Before Drying: Give them a quick shake before drying to reduce any wrinkles. Sleeping in your sheets for a few nights will also smooth them out.
  6. Store Properly: Once dry, store your sheets in a cool, dry spot to keep them fresh.

What is the difference between your 2.0 and 3.0 collections?

Our 2.0 sheets are crafted from our original bamboo-cotton blend, offering softness, breathability, and durability, with labeled corner straps for easy bed-making.
The 3.0 sheets build on this with added features like thicker ribbed elastic on the fitted sheet for a snug fit, a new invisible zipper design and zipper track on the pillowcases, and the unique JoeyPouch™ foldable pocket, allowing the fitted sheet to be folded into itself for simple storage. Our 3.0 sets also include a free matching eye mask and 7 TLC Laundry sheet. Both ranges deliver comfort and quality, with 3.0 providing extra convenience and functionality.

Can I find TLC Sheets in any physical stores?

We are purely a direct to consumer company. That means, we cut out the middleman and the retail store. This, in turn, allows us to pass the savings on to you - the customer! 

What is the difference between a regular bedding set and the TLC Bedding Set?

Excellent question. 

From colour pallet to our no-B.S. functional design, these sheets were designed by Aussies for Aussies.

The current state of the market shows a lack of shopping platforms for men who need quality bed sheets, but do not know where and how to purchase them. We intend to streamline this process and make it exceptionally easy for men to know what they want and need, when they see it.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENCES IN A NUTSHELL: 

- Corner tags in each corner of the fitted sheet labelled Top Left (TL), Top Right (TR), Bottom Left (BL) & Bottom Right (BR) providing product users with a reference point to effectively carry out the process of making the bed.

- TLC Logo with center line marked for ease of locating the center of the sheet and the right end and in the right position

- Corner strap positioned in each corner of fitted sheet to assist in pulling the corners under the mattress with ease and precision

Quilt and Quilt Cover

What is your quilt and quilt cover made from?

Our newest quilts covers are made of 100% cotton.

Our Summer (lighter) quilt is made from 50% goose down and 50% goose feather.

Our Winter (heavier) quilt is made from 10% goose down and 90% goose feather.

Both of these have obtained RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certification.

What are the measurements for your quilt insert and quilt cover?

King Single - 160 x 210 cm
Double - 180 x 210 cm
Queen - 210 x 210 cm
King - 245 x 210 cm
Super King - 260 x 220cm

How does your quilt and quilt cover work together?

Our quilt and cover both have 4 magnets sewn into each of the 4 corners. When placing our quilt inside our quilt covers these magnetise together, ensuring your quilt stays in place all night long without the dreaded moving around or bunching throughout the night.

Our quilt insert also has a TL (top left) and BR (bottom right) tab in these corners so you know exactly which way to put your quilt inside the cover!

Will your quilt cover work with my existing quilt and vice versa?

It will but there would be no use for the magnets. As your existing quilt doesn’t have the magnets sewn into it, there would be nothing for the magnets on our quilt cover to magnetise to. However, it would still function as a high quality quilt cover with beautiful material.

Our quilt also has a zipper along the bottom of it which makes getting it on the quilt so much easier! No more dreaded buttons.

Do you have the magnets available separately?

Not at this stage! We have had a few requests for this so it may be something we offer in future but for the moment, these only come sewn in our quilt insert and cover.

Can you wash and dry your quilt and quilt cover?

You can! We recommend washing on a cold or warm temperature and also using your TLC wash bag that is provided with the quilt cover.

To dry, laying out in the sunlight is best but if you do need to use a dryer, please use a low heat or delicate setting.

*Please note using a tumble dryer can affect the magnetism of the magnets.

What is the difference between your Summer and Winter quilt?

Our Summer (thinner) quilt has a gsm of 70 and the tog rating is 4.5-5.5.

Our Winter (heavier) quilt has a gsm of 300 and the tog rating is 10.5-11.5.

GSM stands for Grams per Square metre which refers to the weight of the quilt filling. It is the number of grams of filling per square metre.

The Tog rating stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is a unit of measurement for insulation and warmth. The higher the rating, the more it is.

How do I return an item?

Please reach out to our customer service team at hello@theladcollective.com and they will be able to assist you with a return.

Alternatively, you can head to our Contact Us page and fill in the form and one of our customer service representatives will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

Processing time for returns

Once your return has been delivered, please allow 3-5 business days for the return to be processed and finalised.

When can I expect my refund?

Once your return has been received and processed, please allow up to 5 business days for the funds to reflect back into your account.

All refunds are processed back to your original payment method.

I have lost my return slip how can I get a new one?

Please reach out to our customer service team at hello@theladcollective.com and they will be able to resend your return label or provide you with a new one.

* Please note return labels are only provided for orders within Australia. New Zealand returns are to be covered at customers expense.

What if I have washed my sheets, can it still be returned?

If it is within our 90 night risk free trial period, you sure can!

If our product has been compromised due to a manufacturing flaw and you’ve washed the sheets, please contact our customer service team at hello@theladcollective.com and they will be happy to assist you.

Where can I locate my tax invoice?

You will receive an order confirmation email upon purchase but if you need a Tax Invoice, please email our customer service team at hello@theladcollective.com and they will be able to email one to you.

What do I do if I've made a mistake with my order?

We all make mistakes, we’re only human! We can fix any mistake from our end as long as your order has not been dispatched.

I have put the incorrect shipping address and my order has been dispatched, what do I do?

My order has been returned to sender, what should I do?

Please contact our customer service team on 0427 031 620 or email us at hello@theladcollective.com and we will lodge an enquiry with the carrier to find out the reason for returning to sender and organise for your order to be resent.

How much is shipping?

Shipping for all Australian and New Zealand orders is free.

How long does shipping take?

We usually dispatch our orders within 1-2 business days. For limited edition collections and peak sales period (Black Friday & Cyber Monday), dispatch can take a bit longer than usual.

Once dispatched, for domestic orders you should have your order within 8 business days. For international orders, please allow between 8-10 business days to receive your order.

All orders are dispatched from either our warehouse in Sydney or our office HQ in Sunshine Coast.

My tracking number isn’t working? What should I do?

Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking number to update. If it has surpassed this timeframe, please contact our customer service team on 0427 031 620 or email us at hello@theladcollective.com.

My tracking says delivered but I haven’t received my parcel yet?

It is rare but sometimes, Auspost and Aramex can mark the package as delivered before physically delivering the parcel. We also recommend checking with anyone else in your household to see if they have accepted the delivery and bought it inside. Please also check with neighbours to ensure they haven’t accidentally received your parcel

Which company do you use for deliveries?

We use Aramex and Australia Post.

If your shipping address is to a PO Box, we will use Australia Post.

Promotions and Rewards

Can I use a discount code with an existing promotion? Or stack discount codes?

Unfortunately not, discount codes cannot be stacked or combined and only one discount/promotion can be used on the one order.

Can I redeem multiple points and use them on one purchase?

Only one lot of points can be applied to an order and the highest amount of points that can be redeemed is 1200 which will give you $50 off your order

If you have multiple items you would like to purchase and you would like to apply more than one lot of points, we recommend placing separate orders.

Is there a minimum spend for rewards points?

Yes! The minimum spend is $100.

I have redeemed my points but no longer want to use them, will these automatically go back onto my account?

Is TLC Australian owned?

100% it is. Fair dinkum. 

Is TLC Australian owned and where are you located?

It sure is! Ed and Bill, our co-founders are two brothers from Atherton and started TLC in September 2020.

Our Office HQ is located in the Sunshine Coast and our warehouse is located in Sydney.

Where do you manufacture your products?

Our cosmetic products are made in Brisbane, Australia, and our bedding range is designed and distributed here in Brisbane, and manufactured by our very talented team in China.

Despite trying for a significant period of time to find suitable Aussie manufacturers, we discovered that, for the most part, our local manufacturing industry doesn’t currently have the same level of investment in technology and innovation as overseas facilities, and would not necessarily be able to scale with our demand at times. 

As a truly Aussie brand, we aim to support local jobs wherever we can, and we’re proud of the fact that our range will forever be designed in Australia.
